Prepare for a finger-licking frenzy, Costa Mesa! Raising Cane’s is gearing up for round two in the city, approved for plans at 1595 Newport Blvd., The Daily Pilot reports.

This spot is near the junction of Old Newport Boulevard and East 16th Street. After opening the town’s first drive-through on Harbor Boulevard, the company is seeking to build a second outpost.

The Raising Cane’s team laid out their expansion plans before the Costa Mesa Planning Commission, and received the green light with a 4-2 vote. It will be a 2,913-square-foot restaurant with a spacious outdoor patio, a drive-thru, and parking for 34 vehicles. T

This Cane’s plans to operate from 9 AM to 2 AM Sunday through Wednesday and from 3:30 AM on Thursdays through Saturdays. California hosts the second-most locations of the company, behind Texas.
