Work is underway on a new In-N-Out location in Redlands, which is to be the city’s first outpost of the chain. The brand has a project ongoing at 1301 W. Lugonia Ave., site plan details show.
Records filed with the city reveal the property will combine two lots for a 2.1-acre site with a 3,887-square-foot new-build restaurant. There will be a covered outdoor dining patio, a parking lot with 47 spaces, and dual drive-thru lanes with room for 32 vehicles.
Last spring, the Redlands Planning Commission approved the burger chain’s plans to build. According to the In-N-Out website, the location is “opening soon”.
Construction Journal lists the value of the project at $1,200,000 and states prep work began in October. Just across the freeway, other developments are going on, including two centers with incoming tenants including Longhorn Steakhouse and Popeyes.
