Newport Beach is set to welcome the expansion of one of LA’s top dining and nightlife hotspots. The Nice Guy, an iconic Italian-inspired restaurant and lounge based in West Hollywood, has announced it will open another location at 2607 West Coast Highway, according to PR Newswire.

Known for its moody atmosphere, The Nice Guy blends plush seating, dim lighting, and a vintage glam vibe. According to 926OC, the Newport outpost is under permitting review. A timeline for when it will debut it unknown, and the brand did not return requests for further details.

This expansion comes on the heels of The h.wood Group securing a nine-figure valuation following a strategic investment from DIAFA, an Abu Dhabi-based luxury hospitality company. Other locations will open in major U.S. cities in the future, too, it’s been reported.

The Nice Guy offers a menu of Italian comfort dishes with a contemporary twist, ranging from garlic cheese bread and burrata tomato starters to large plates like chicken Parmesan, porcini-rubbed skirt steak, and a selection of pastas including rigatoni Bolognese and cacio e pepe. The venue also features specialty pizzas, seafood, and a robust cocktail program.

It’s a The h.wood Group concept — a glitzy hospitality company known for some of the top eating and entertainment spots in places like Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, and NYC. Other brands from the business include Delilah, Bootsy Bellows, and Harriet’s.
