A new restaurant under development in Rialto, at 1040 W Renaissance Parkway, is officially moving forward with plans. Construction bidding documents show that work will soon commence at the site, which will become an eatery called Hoshiki.
The concept is planned as a one-story, 5,387-square-foot building on a .93-acre lot, with an approximate occupancy of 175 patrons. It will join a cluster of other F&B businesses at the shopping center, like Dutch Bros, Cracker Barrel, and Texas Roadhouse.
The project has multiple contractors and engineers listed on records, including EBS Construction Services, architect John de Frenza, structural engineering by Brandow & Johnston Associates, electrical engineering by Empire 3, mechanical/plumbing by Trek Engineering, civil engineering by DRP Enterprises, and landscaping by Wilson & Associates.
Project records show the restaurant is owned by Tim Nguyen, who is also connected to Shiki Sushi, Teppan, Grill, and Sport Bar in Redlands. Nguyen has applied for a liquor license with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, and that is currently listed as “pending”.
