A golf similar club is in the works at 129 W Commonwealth Ave in Fullerton, city permitting records reveal. It’s being designed as a bar and restaurant with state-of-the-art golfing bay technology, offering a new entertainment amenity for the city’s hospitality scene.
The applicant, Wesley Pearce, requested a conditional use permit to allow a commercial recreation business on the building’s 6,717-square-foot second floor and the 6,969-square-foot rooftop deck above it. The City of Fullerton’s Development Activity tracker states it is under construction and will open in 2026.
The latest activity, from last week, shows that the workflow for the building permit is about one-third of the way to completion. Records show Wismer Architects is named on a $1.86 million tenant improvement permit associated with the property address.
At a city meeting, Pearce spoke to the commissioners and introduced his plans, stating the venue would have eleven full-swing golf simulators, two of which will be located on the rooftop lounge. The golfing suites will be available early in the morning, but food and drink service won’t start until 11 AM. He plans to hire around 14 to 16 staff members for the business.
