Rose Bakery Cafe, a beloved breakfast and coffee spot that has served the Corona del Mar community since 1997, is set to open a new location in Orange later this year. A PR rep told What Now OC that it will be on Main Street near Main Place mall.
After nearly 30 years of being a favorite spot in the area, the bakery’s owner decided to spread its wings. It’s close to opening its second location in Irvine, which What Now OC reported will be a co-concept with Laventina’s Pizza.
Known for its hearty breakfast burritos, bagels, muffins, fresh pastries, and quality coffee, customers can assume they will get to enjoy the same menu at the other upcoming locations. Not many other specifics have been announced regarding the project details.
Unlike the original beachside spot, the Orange location will focus more on quick service while maintaining the same quality menu that has made Rose Bakery Cafe a staple for nearly three decades. Customers can expect a familiar selection of breakfast burritos, bagels, muffins, and coffee drinks.
The cafe was originally founded by Shawn and Dai Lim, but in 2022, the business was acquired by John DeCarrier. According to its website, his umbrella company has several other entrepreneurial businesses associated with it, including a design firm and two car washes in Illinois.
