Salad and Go, a rapidly expanding drive-thru-only salad chain, is making its debut in Indio as part of a broader development. Set to open near Monroe Street and Avenue 42, the Desert Sun reports it is the brand’s first in the valley.

The new Indio location will be joining other coming fast-food favorites such as In-N-Out Burger, Raising Cane’s, and Sumo Dog. It will likely be a building of around 750 square feet, as Restaurant Business Online states that is the typical size of a Salad and Go.

Salad and Go offers fresh, made-to-order salads priced between $6 and $8, including options with protein. The company’s model focuses on delivering salads, wraps, soups, and breakfast in under four minutes via its efficient double drive-thru format.

According to CNBC, the chain has grown to over 130 units in the 12 years it has been open. The brand has also stated that there is market potential for stores in the quadruple digits. Currently, the company has locations in Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and Oklahoma.

The business did not respond to a request for comment before publication.
