San Clemente is set to welcome Salty Turf, a new mini golf attraction located at Vista Hermosa Sports Park, according to Picket Fence Media. The complex, at 987 Avenida Vista Hermosa, will have two 18-hole courses for families and friends to enjoy and a clubhouse for food and refreshments.
There will be an adventure-style course inspired by iconic San Clemente landmarks like the San Clemente Pier, Trestles train tracks, and a military-themed hole honoring Camp Pendleton. And a pro-style course will be designated for serious golfers, with holes modeled after famous courses including Augusta National. The clubhouse will include a concession area for mini golf players and park visitors.
The project is led by lifelong resident Jeff Moore, alongside partners Marcus Vanneman and Andrew Streett. Architect Michael Luna is designing the beach-themed facility, which was revealed at a Planning Commission meeting. Construction documents are near completion, with groundbreaking expected to happen soon and an official opening planned for April 2026.
