Shake Shack is set to expand into the desert for the first time by opening a new location in Palm Desert. The burger joint has confirmed it will have an outpost at 73-061 El Paseo, Palm Springs Tribune reports

The QSR eatery will join a plethora of other businesses at The Shops on El Paseo, a premier destination in the valley for shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. Known as the “Rodeo Drive of the desert,” there are over 300 retailers situated at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains.

Shake Shack is a popular chain founded in New York City in 2004. The concept has grown from a single hot dog cart in Madison Square Park to over 500 locations worldwide.

The company’s simple menu features made-to-order Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken, hand-spun milkshakes, and house-made lemonades. The brand is currently hiring for all positions at the Palm Desert store.
