Soup lovers in Rancho Cucamonga can sleep well knowing another great option for soups and salads is on the way. Soup ‘n Fresh is a new concept that is replacing the old Souplantation at 8966 Foothill Blvd., according to ABC 7.

The company is a family-owned business, and this is its first location. It’s a buffet-style, build-your-own salad bar with soups and fresh bakery items, something the community has been yearning for since the shuttering of Souplantation. A grand opening will happen in April.

Soup ‘n Fresh co-owner Bryan Lopez told What Now OC, “The inspiration of the concept comes from missing the previous buffet at our location in Rancho Cucamonga that went bankrupt during COVID. Our goal is to create something better than previously existed by increasing the quality and healthiness of the food.”

The store received over 100 applications and scheduled many interviews for positions at the restaurant. They expect service to be busy, and as the buzz in the community increases, people will come from all over the Inland Empire to try it out.
