Starbucks Proposes a New Drive-Thru Near Anaheim’s Gonzalez Plaza

As of last year, the city was home to 25 Starbucks locations, making it the tenth most populated area in the entire state of California.

Global coffee juggernaut, Starbucks, is proposing the ground-up construction of a new drive-thru near Anaheim’s Gonzalez Plaza at 1190 N East St, according to a development project permit filed with the city and reviewed by What Now Orange County

Incidentally, California boasts the most amount of Starbucks locations in the country, with some 3,075 stores peppered throughout, according to data compiled by ScrapeHero last month.

More specifically, however, according to an article published by Patch in March 2022, Anaheim was home to 25 locations, earning it the tenth spot on a list of California cities with the most outposts. The number one spot was taken by Los Angeles at 153, followed by San Diego with 131, San Jose’s 77, Sacramento’s 69, San Francisco’s 63, Bakersfield and Fresno at 42 and 37 respectively, and finally, Irvine, which houses 32.
