Stone Groove, a new restaurant, bar, and micro-distillery that bills itself as an “Audio Stillhouse” recently filed a plan review application with the city of Anaheim for its flagship location at 500 S Anaheim Blvd, according to city records reviewed by What Now Orange County.

A representative of Stone Groove did not immediately return a request for comment.

Although concrete information is somewhat scant – we’re particularly interested in knowing what an audio stillhouse is – a website for the company explains that it’s “an ingredient-driven, ‘grain-to-glass’ micro-distillery serving Orange County’s finest cocktails with house-made distilled spirits,” adding, “Our food and coffee is pretty good too.”

Meanwhile, a page dedicated to the restaurant promises “world-class cuisine at an affordable price.”

Stone Groove Still House is the brainchild of industry veterans Christa and Jeff Duggan, who opened Portola Coffee Roasters in 2009. Overseeing the distillery operation in Sam Woodall, a Kentucky native who spent time “expanding his knowledge and expertise in the field of brewing and distilling” at Herriott Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Lastly, the company’s image will be built by Brand Architect Micah Zehnder.
