Take Ur Seat, a popular SoCal eatery, is expanding to Redlands Public Market, according to the food hall’s website. A fast-casual version of the concept called Take Ur Seat Lite will grace the new facility, which is located at 330 3rd St.

The new location will bring all-day plates to the community, offering brunch, lunch, and dinner options. There will also be caffeinated drinks courtesy of their partners at LOCAL Coffee Roasters, the company’s website shows.

Founded in 2018, Take Ur Seat started in Chino Hills. Since then, it has expanded to Ontario, opened a Take Ur Seat Lite outpost in West Covina, and added sister brands Gud2Go in Pomona and +Bake Cafe in Rancho Cucamonga.

Mike and Mira Obadja started the venture along with Herry and Debora Tarigan and Chef Paul Adidjaja. Mike told What Now OC the lease is signed, permits are secured, and the final touches of construction are happening. A liquor license application is in progress, as is hiring.

“Take Ur Seat has always been about more than brunch—it’s about bringing people together, making space for connection, and creating a table where everyone belongs. With Take Ur Seat Lite, we’re bringing that same heart to Redlands in a way that’s fast and convenient, but still full of soul. We can’t wait to serve this community and make Redlands Public Market feel like home,” he said.
