Fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant The Kebab Shop is set to open a new location at The Village at La Floresta in Brea, according to records. The business is working with the county to remodel a space at 3405 E Imperial Hwy BLDG F.

The business will be taking over the former Slapfish spot, an eatery chain that has closed several SoCal spots lately. The Kebab Shop will join popular spots like CorePower Yoga, Urban Plates, IV Hydration & Wellness, and Premier Martial Arts Brea at the property.

Plans have been filed with the Orange County Health Care Agency – Environmental Health Division to remodel the property. As of mid-June, the project is listed as “unable to approve plans”.

Founded in 2007, The Kebab Shop has quickly expanded across California, Florida, and Texas, growing to 50 units. It promises a fresh dining experience with signature dishes like Döner Kebabs, falafels, and bowls.

Representatives for The Kebab Shop did not return comment in time for publication.
