Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove is preparing to introduce a new restaurant called Timbers Table & Kitchen as part of a sweeping resort-wide renovation. Records filed with the county show the eatery will be one of many new food and beverage options at the property, 12681 S Harbor Blvd.

According to pages for other Great Wolf locations that have a Timbers (Pocono Mountains, Grand Mound, Mashantucket, Fitchburg, and Webster/Houston), it will be open for buffet-style breakfast and family-style dinners. Hours for different spots vary, but most of them open in the morning and then again in the evening.

The Orange County Health Care Agency is reviewing plans for the new dining concept and listed that revisions will be needed. It will be over 1,000 square feet, but other details are scarce, and a timeline for when it will debut is unknown at this point.

Several posts in travel groups online say the renovation of the property will be similar to how Great Wolf Lodge remodeled and updated its Ground Mound hotel. That was a $40 million project.
