Urbane Cafe, the popular fast-casual chain founded by Tom Holt, is expanding its footprint with a new location in Orange, records reveal. The business filed plans that show its intent to move into a space at 691 S Main Street.

Records from the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division show the company submitted details about a “food remodel” project of over 1,000 square feet. The plans were marked as received earlier this week.

Started in 2003 in Ventura, Urbane Cafe is known for its hand-crafted, fire-baked sandwiches, salads, bowls, and soups. It has gained a loyal following in SoCal for its mission to provide fresh, healthy, and delicious meals while supporting local farmers and suppliers.

As of now, Urbane Cafe operates nearly three dozen locations across Southern California and Las Vegas. Its website shows the closest current locations to Orange are in Aliso Viejo and West Covina, with a Long Beach location also opening soon.
