Popular Los Angeles ice cream spot Wanderlust Creamery is prepping for the opening of its eighth location, which will be its second in Orange County. It will open in Costa Mesa on Sept. 13 at 3033 Bristol Street.

Adrienne Borlongan and Jon-Patrick Lopez opened Wanderlust Creamery in 2015 and expanded it to six locations across Los Angeles County. The brand then ventured out of the Los Angeles area and expanded to Irvine. It also has a Torrance location planned for spring 2025.

Wanderlust Creamery is known for its unique flavors, which are conceptualized in-house by Borlongan, who has a degree in food science. Its signature flavors include ube malted crunch, sticky rice and mango, Wanderlust vanilla and Japanese neapolitan, which is a combination of matcha, Japanese cherry blossom and Hokkaido milk ice creams.

The brand also features seasonal flavors that rotate on a monthly basis. The creative selections are inspired by different cultures and flavors from around the world, which has made it a popular destination for ice cream lovers in Los Angeles — and now in Orange County as well.
