Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula is preparing to expand its food and beverage offerings with a newly approved snack bar, according to permitting records. The sprawling property, a family-owned business of multiple generations, is located at 35960 Rancho California Rd.
The project involves constructing a quick little food service counter out a 240-square-foot shipping container. A pre-construction meeting was completed in June, and plan check approval was granted in mid-July, county records show. Information about the current status or when it will be open is not available.
This new addition joins Wilson Creek’s existing food destinations, including the two restaurants on site, Creekside Grille and Courtyard Bar and Grill. Both of those offer wine-inspired casual fare and drinks in the property’s scenic outdoor courtyards. A snack bar will be a great option for those who just need a quick bite or something small.
Founded in 1996 by Gerry and Rosie Wilson, Wilson Creek Winery has grown into a 90-acre family-run operation that hosts more than 1,500 visitors each weekend and sells over 75,000 cases of wine annually. This spring, the business shared that its founders were inducted into the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Hall of Fame.
