Wingstop is set to open a new location at 13250 Jamboree Rd. in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to a tip sent to What Now OC. The popular restaurant chain known for its buffalo wings and diverse range of sauces will be taking over the spot previously occupied by Daphne’s California Greek.

Far West Services, the largest Wingstop franchisee on the West Coast, is spearheading this opening as part of its rapid expansion goals. With 127 locations currently in operation, the franchisor has formed successful empires in Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Washington, and California.

The operator also has an additional 51 planned to open over the next year and a half. In Southern California alone, Far West will be adding 27 new stores. This Irvine outpost is one of seven in Orange County that the group has planned.

Wingstop is renowned for its menu featuring buffalo wings, thighs, and tenders, complemented by a wide range of sauces. Customers can choose from spicy options like Atomic and Spicy Korean Q or non-spicy flavors such as Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper. Popular sides include fries, Cajun Fried Corn, and Veggie Sticks.
