Jinya Ramen franchisee Taff Liao has plans to open a new boba tea shop right next to the Jinya Ramen in Lake Eola. Jinya Ramen is located on 8 N Summerlin Ave, right off E Central Blvd, and Boba ETC Inc. has filed to open a boba tea place right next door on 12 N. Summerlin Ave.
According to real estate intel acquired by What Now Orlando, the former tenant of 12 N. Summerlin Ave., Juice’d Orlando, closed back in October and Boba ETC Inc. has filed for the lease in its place.
Bubble tea, also known as “boba”, is a tea-based drink that originated in Taiwan. It usually consists of a milky tea that has tapioca balls. The teas come in a variety of different forms and can include toppings other than tapioca balls such as popping bobas, jellies, cheese or milk foams and more.
A representative from Boba ETC Inc. wasn’t able to comment on when the location would be opening, but check back in with us for updates.
