Tony and Hung Nguyen have partnered together to establish So-Ju Chikn, a new fast Korean dining experience. The restaurant will appear at 1270 N Wickman Road Suite 2, and they will replace Tijuana Flats, which appears to have closed a few months ago.
Tony has experience as a restaurateur, owning Senzu Noodle Bar, also in Melbourne. However, this will be the first time he has partnered with his brother to offer food in Orlando.
In Melbourne Village Plaza, So-Ju Chikn will be neighbors to Athens Grill, Applebee’s and Flames Mediterranean Bar and Grill.
Dishes such as chicken bulgogi bowls, Korean fried chicken and kimchi fries will be landmarks of the menu, according to Nguyen. Diners can expect to enjoy a quick, popular Korean meals.
During a phone interview with What Now, Nguyen confirmed that construction has just concluded, and they are working on the final touches before undergoing the inspections process.
According to state records, a plan review for new construction was approved with provisions on January the 3rd. Nguyen hopes to open in a couple of weeks.
