A new bar & grill is headed to 1505 King St in Cocoa, according to recent public records.

JW’s Sports Bar & Grill will soon be heading to the area, spearheaded by Wendy Rodriguez, former owner of Pompano Beach’s Circus Bar.

“We’ll be serving up a very approachable, American-based menu—burgers, wings, salad, things like that.” Rodriguez tells What Now Orlando. “We hope to serve different specials and bring out the locals; it’ll be in a restaurant desert so we’re hoping to revatilize the area.”

Rodriguez enthusiastically notes that the space will feature a sizeable patio, ideal for eventful nights or lounging in the coastal afternoon sun. The parking lot may play an active role at JW’s as well.

“Potentially, we’ll put on a car show in the parking lot,” she says.

If all continues to run smoothly with the final stages of preparation, JW’s should be open in early March.
