It is a big year for the birria taco food truck.
Double Dippin is building a new location in Holly Hill at 235 Riverside Drive, per recent reports and a Florida Department of Business filing. This would be owner Alyssa Allred’s first brick-and-mortar since serving the Daytona Beach area. The team has not revealed an opening date as the project is under construction, but are reportedly hoping to debut by the end of the year.
Double Dippin is currently a food truck operating in Volusia County. Allred typically serves at weddings, pop-ups and community events including Tanger Daytona Beach, the community market event. She serves classic birria tacos, bowls, empanadas and crunch rolls.
The Double Dippin location will be in the same building as Dark Alchemy Coffee, on the east side of Riverside Drive. This office building is right on the Halifax River, and separates Holly Hill from the Seabreeze Historic District. Downtown Daytona Beach is just south of the address.
From a recent post on their Facebook page, the interior is being built out. There is still much work to do, and she will be updating the community on the official opening date in the near future.
