Fat Cats Billards will open soon in Eustis, giving local residents a new place to play and imbibe.

Scott’s Fat Cats LLC just applied for permits with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a Fat Cats at 306 W. Ardice Avenue. The Fat Cats Facebook page doesn’t list an opening date, but does note that it’s coming soon: “We’re getting closer to our opening date, and as soon as we have it, you’ll be the first to know!,” was recently posted. In addition, the billiard hall and bar is currently hiring for bartenders, bar backs, and front desk greeters.

The Fat Cats website notes that “Eustis’s new favorite hangout” will offer family-friendly play from noon to 9 p.m., with 21-and-over play from 9 p.m. until it closes at 2 a.m. Fat cats will also host events and league play, and friendly staff can even help you up your game.

Fat Cats will offer guests 19 top-of-the-line pool tables four dart boards, and a pro shop according to Facebook. In addition, Fat Cats will offer a full bar and a menu of appetizers, according to its website.
