Orlando International Airport (MCO) is going through a major upgrade. The airport, ranked the ninth busiest in the country by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), will add hanger facilities, an FBO terminal, and more, thanks to an approval by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA).
The airport has also announced a Concession Master Plan that will add more than three dozen new dining and shopping experiences to Terminals A and B at MCO, with completion set for the end of 2028, according to a press release.
Phase one of the restaurant additions were previously announced, with hospitality company OTG developing and operating several establishments including Black Bean Deli, Eola Wine Company, Hinckley’s Fancy Meats, Maxine’s on Shine, Otto’s High Dive, Stasio’s Italian Deli & Market, Smoke & Donuts BBQ, Starbucks, and The Kitchens Food (the future home of Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay, MOD Pizza, Seito Sushi on the Fly, and The Halal Guys).
Recently, more restaurants have been named, with several operators winning operational bids, according to Airport Experience News.
TGlobal/Lago LLC, part of Transglobal Concessions and led by Jared Benton, will operate Just Love Coffee and Crisp & Green.
Central Florida Hospitality Partners, led by HMSHost, will operate Bahia Bowls, Chick-fil-A, Shake Shack, and Panda Express. SSP America won a bid for a multi-location package to operate Piggza, Starbucks, Bricks & Bowls, Sambazon, Naya Middle Eastern, Chick-fil-A and Einstein Brothers Bagels.
