King Bao has added their third location to their lineup list on social media. They’ll take over the spot formerly occupied by Big As’s Sandwiches on West Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park.
The concept created by Chef and Owner Vic Nguyen mixes the popular Chinese food with Western twists to modernize the classic. Baos are pillowy steamed buns, filled with meat and toppings. King Bao offers an assortment of flavorful proteins and some meat-free options.
Menu highlights include the Hogzilla which contains braised pork belly, the Kickin’ Chicken with Kimchi Fried Chicken, and the Veganville with crispy fried Tofu.
King Bao also fries up an assortment of tater tots loaded with unique toppings. Try them sriracha aioli or as tatchos (nacho style) with braised pork, cheese sauce, jalapenos and togarashi.
King Bao’s opened their flagship restaurant in Mills 50 in 2016 and went on to open their second location on East Colonial Drive in Alafaya.
