Chef John Tesar will soon bring another one of his concepts to Orlando, this time in burger form. A contestant on Top Chef, the award-winning chef is currently working on bringing his Texas-born Knife Burger to Orlando’s JW Marriott Grande Lakes.
In 2020, Tesar introduced Orlando to Knife & Spoon, a Steakhouse and Seafood restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton. Orlando Weekly named Knife & Spoon “Best New Restaurant of 2020.”
The Knife Burger concept is open and thriving in Plano, TX. They’re known for their Ozersky Burger, Magic Burger, and Pimento Cheese Burger. The Orlando location is expected to have a more diverse and expanded menu.
