The casual Indian chain Persis Indian Grill is preparing to expand to a new location in Lake Mary, FL, according to franchise owner Srinivas Vanguru. The restaurant will occupy a suite within Park Lane Plaza, at 1109 International Parkway, home to other chain eateries such as Chicken Salad Chick and Currito.

The Lake Mary location, set to open October 1, 2022, will be Mr. Vanguru’s third Persis Indian Grill after having opened franchises in Des Moines, IA and Omaha, NE.

Persis Indian Grill has over twenty locations across the United States, primarily along the East Coast. The chain boasts a menu of classic Indian fare such as curry, tandoor-style dishes, and their signature dish, the biryani.

Other menu items include a variety of naan breads, Indian-style chicken wings, and a robust selection of vegetarian appetizers and entreés such as samosas and Palak Paneer. Diners can also enjoy a cold mango lassi with their meals and an order of sweet Gulab Jamun to finish.

Beyond the standard dining experience, Persis promotes itself as a quality catering service, stating on their website, “whether you are planning on throwing a large corporate catering soiree or hosting a wedding reception, Persis Indian Grill understands the importance of throwing a seamless & fabulous party…We will work with whatever budget you have and ensure that you end up getting much more than you pay for.”
