After announcing its closure in early January, popular Altamonte Springs restaurant Poblano’s may soon find its new home in Oviedo, recent public records suggest.
The document in question—a recently filed plan review—states the restaurant’s new address would be at 5414 Deep Lake Rd, #1152, which appears to be the current address of Monte Vesuvio Restaurant.
Evidence of Poblano’s relocation is consistent with recent public statements: a January 4th post announcing closure due to “leasing negotiation issues” and a February 18 post updating the public about the restaurant’s ‘amazing comeback to serve you all again”, punctuated with a “see you all soon!”
Representatives reached by What Now Orlando did not return requests for comment. It is not immediately clear what this potential change will mean for either Poblano’s or the existing Monte Vesuvio.
