Southern Italian cooking meets West Coast Central Florida in the form of Pastas Express Company, a new Italian dining experience arriving in New Port Richey this October.
Owner Warren Chiapparelli describes the new concept as fast-casual Italian cuisine. “When we started our business in 2021 we had one goal in mind: Introducing the West Central Coast of Florida to a staple of Southern Italian Culinary Dining and experience the unique aromatic flavors from the Providence of Potenza in the Basilicata Region of Southern Italy,” shares the yet-to-open eatery’s website.
Serving three meals a day, Pastas Express Co. will bring fresh, handmade pastas; Italian vegetables like artichoke, eggplant, and zucchini; and fennel-driven sausages (among other things) to Florida when it opens at 7611 Little Road. “Oso Bucco’s, Eggplant Rollatini, Cannelloni, Gnocchi, Risotto Basilicata & Fruitti Di Mare are my personal favorites,” Chiapparelli wrote in an email to What Now Orlando. Ditto with desserts like cannoli, cassatella zabaglione, and panna cotta.
When Pastas Express Company opens on Little Road, it will neighbor other restaurants like Not Your Mommas BBQ and Boulevard. Chiapparelli shared Pastas Express’ grand opening date will be October 4.
