According to recent public records, a popular southern joint is near opening its newest spot.

Pepper & Salt BBQ will soon be found at 2745 St. Lucie Blvd in Vero Beach. The location will combine barbecue, craft beer, pickleball and live music at an old citrus packing house.

A recent article reports that Tom and Tiffany Corr, Alden and Valerie Bing, and John and Heather Chianis will be running the establishment.

“It’s an iconic type of building in Florida, in the citrus industry, and they’re all getting torn down,” said Tom Corr to TC Palm. “It’s kind of nice to hold on to it.”

“It’s been a long process,” said Tom Corr. “I’m super excited about it.”

“At Pepper & Salt, we’re proud to bring the flavors of Central Texas to Vero Beach, Florida. Our journey started in 2021 when my husband, John, and I, Heather Chianis, decided to turn our love for backyard smoking into something bigger,” the official website states.
