According to recent reporting in Business Debut, a growing pizza chain will soon begin construction on its upcoming site at an undisclosed address in The Villages.

The chain’s upcoming Villages spot comes as part of their central Florida expansion which has included target markets such as Altamonte, Oviedo, and Lake Nona according to a 2022 interview with co-owner Jerry Roberts.

“Whether you are looking for a quick lunch or a dinner destination to meet up with friends & family, Piesanos is your place,” the official website states. “We are proud to use only the finest ingredients available, including Grande® premium mozzarella, ricotta & romano cheeses. Our dough is made fresh daily & all of our pizzas are baked in our unique Granite Stone Fired Pizza Oven!”

Founded in 2009 by five restaurateurs in Gainesville, Piesanos has grown into a budding pizza franchise in Florida, with 11 locations throughout the state. The menu features a wide range of pizza, calzone, sandwiches, soups and salads.

While not much information exists on the specific location, BD reports that the restaurant will feature seating for around 100 guests and will offer both beer and wine.
