The growing North Dakota-based chain Sickies Burgers and Brews will soon be opening an Orlando location, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be located at 11701 International Drive, next to eateries such as Dunkin’ and Fruit and Shakes.
Succinctly stating its offering and brand identity on the company website, Sickies states “The hallmark of Sickies Garage Burgers and Brews restaurant is a mouthwatering, supercharged burger and sandwich menu. Freshly prepared choices range from the traditional Garage Burger to wild, award-winning signature items like the Sickies Burger, Turbocharged Twin Cam, and Glazed Doughnut burgers.”
As the name suggests, the brand is also known for its robust selection of beers, offering “evolving and rotating selections of 50 local craft, domestic, and import brews with something to please every beer drinker. Beer aficionados, or those who like to keep it simple are sure to find the right brew.”
After reaching out to company representatives with many questions but without much luck, What Now Orlando was contacted by Alissa Kelly of PR Plus LV, the firm in charge of Sickies’ public relations.
“All we have now to report is that we are just starting permitting but we hope for an early fall opening,” Kelly stated.
“This will be our second location in the area – joining our current location at 7640 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy in Kissimmee.”
