The franchise known for making simple real food and authentic Greek recipes, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, is set to open 20 more locations across the U.S. this year and next, with two locations set to open in Florida. One of the new Florida locations is set to be in St Johns on 60 Shoppes Blvd Suite 50.
The second location is set to be in Orlando on 4710 S Orange Ave between Holden Ave and Gatlin Ave. near The Porch, Lance’s Red Hot Bar and Grill, Le Coq au Vin, Brazas Chicken and more.
The menu features classic Greek appetizers such as tzatziki, dolmades, spanakopita, a Greek salad, gyros and sandwiches (including an Athenian burger), entrees featuring souvlakis, gyros, a mezze plate and more. The dessert menu is also very exciting, with baklava, rice pudding, kourabiedes and baklava ice cream as options.
“The Great Greek was founded by two third-generation restauranteurs with more than 30 years in the food and hospitality business,” according to their official website. The duo got into the food industry to be able to serve “a meal made with care and love.”
