Fresh off the opening of bar and restaurant Bounce House, Thriving Hospitality will introduce another new concept in Orlando. The team operates Thrive Cocktail Lounge and Eatery, nightclub Ivy Rose in Tampa, along with Knight’s Pub and Saddle Up.

According to plans outlined to the city, Thriving Hospitality is planning their next venue at 1336 N Mills Avenue. The site is the former home of Lamp Shade Fair, known for its mosaic Diversity Mural by artists Jennifer Kuhns and Cherie Bosela on the side of the building.

The hospitality group will redesign the 1960s-era retail building, transforming the space into a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Not much is known at this time about the concept and cuisine behind the new project, currently referred to as “The Mills 50 Bar.”

What Now Orlando will share updates from Thriving Hospitality as they become available. For now, visit their Instagram page to stay connected with all of their open venues.
