According to recent reporting in Orlando Weekly, a popular local pizzeria is expanding in both footprint and concept.

Ziggie’s Pizza, “the artisanal, thin-crust pie joint run by brothers Christian and Floyd Ziegler in Ivanhoe Village”, has recently become tenant of the Thirsty Topher space next door. Reportedly, the Ziegler brothers & co-owners will operate a separate bar out of the space and rename it The Topher Taproom at Ziggie’s.

“Founded and operated by brother-duo Christian and Floyd Ziegler. Growing up, they were always called “Ziggie” amongst their peers, so it was only fitting to name their pizza spot by their nickname,” the official website states.

“Ziggie’s is a small pizza shop located in Orlando’s Ivanhoe District. We are connected to a local bar, The Thirsty Topher, which offers some delicious Florida craft beer, wine, and housemate sangria!”

“The concept of the restaurant is simple – personal sized thin-crust pizzas that hold a unique combination of flavors topped with house-made ingredients. Easy enough to share with someone else, or devour alone. It’s a quick pit stop while bar hoppin’ on Virginia Drive or just a place to hang during the late hours!”

No opening / operational date has been announced.
