A brand new concept called Sexy Roman is getting ready to open in Old Town Scottsdale, located at 7277 E. Camelback Road.
The new restaurant will open inside the W Scottsdale Hotel in the former home of Sushi Roku, which closed in Summer 2023 after 15 years, according to the Phoenix Business Journal. This is the latest from Alliance Hospitality Group, a Los Angeles-based group behind Flint by Baltaire in Phoenix, making it the group’s second restaurant concept in the Valley. The restaurant group hopes to open Sexy Roman in Spring 2025, offering dishes from Italy and the Mediterranean, family-style entrees, and prime steaks.
“We’ve designed this space to be more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience,” Travis Strickland, the COO of Alliance Hospitality Group, said in a statement. “From the glow of the marble bar to the open-air dining, every detail invites guests to escape into something extraordinary.”
Alliance Hospitality Group, founded in 2002, is a portfolio of restaurant concepts fused together by a common commitment to provide guests with memorable, unparalleled dining experiences. From the outset, Alliance sought to cultivate the sustainable thought of healthy and tasty food in an easy-going and pleasant setting, and from that, their first restaurant was born. After years of success and earning a seat at California’s venerable food table, Alliance Hospitality Group has now organically grown to 13 restaurants with ample room for further expansion. Now, the company is getting ready to cross state lines once again to open Sexy Roman.
“Rome wasn’t built in a day, but this Italian-inspired hotspot is worth the wait,” according to the announcement made on social media. “Say ciao to Sexy Roman. The restaurant will offer a modern twist on Italian and Mediterranean cuisine where every dish is dressed to impress. From freshly made pasta, steaks, and even a show-stopper tiramisu table-side service for a sweet ending, Sexy Roman will be serving up indulgence and experience like no other.”
