Allora Gelato, the Scottsdale-based gelateria, is opening a second location.

The gelateria will open in the Collab Building at 325 N Ash Street in Gilbert, where State Forty Eight clothing shop is now located. No opening date has been announced, but the clothing shop is slated to close on November 16, according to East Valley Now.

Allora Gelato’s flagship location opened in Scottsdale less than a year ago, and is already garnering rave reviews on Yelp, with one reviewer calling its product, “gelato perfection!”

Allora’s origin story is one of romance and passion. Owner Lalo Fuentes and his fiancé, Ciara, traveled to Capri when they found themselves at a tiny gelateria. After his first taste of the creamy treat, he knew he wanted to bring that experience back to the United States.  The couple sold everything they owned to travel the world for a year and a half, learning about gelato-making and exploring different flavors and methods. With that knowledge, that opened Allora in Scottsdale in early 2026.

Allora gelatos are made with organic (when possible) ingredients including Belgian cacao, Sicilian pistachios, sun-ripened figs from Croatia, local honey, fresh basil, and lavender from the South of France. The result is creamy gelato with no synthetic flavors or colors, served in freshly made gluten-free waffles.
