Cuppa Yo is coming soon to Arizona! The Oregon-based frozen yogurt brand will be swirling into Buckeye at 1510 S. Watson Rd., late this fall. The West Valley is in for a real treat, which will allow customers to make the healthy dessert of their dreams.
Franchisee Steve Weaver and his wife will be retiring in the Arizona heat this year. The pair raised their family in Oregon while leading respective engineering and teaching careers for many years. “Our kids grew up loving Cuppa Yo. It’s the perfect family-friendly environment in which everyone gets exactly what they want,” Weaver tells What Now Phoenix.
The Weavers will own and operate this first Cuppa Yo store in Buckeye, taking over a 900 square-foot retail space that is about to undergo renovations. There will be four yogurt machines carrying two flavors each. A cold bar will have a selection of fresh fruits, while the dry bar will offer a wide variety of other toppings like cereals, sprinkles, candy and more.
After pouring and customizing their own yogurt cups, customers will bring their creations to the scales and pay based on weight. The space will offer indoor seating, while the shopping center also has an outdoor patio area. Weaver says that they are projected to open in mid-November.
