Decadent Macaron, a local Arizona bakeshop specializing in colorful French macarons, is opening their second store in Gilbert this year. Find them at 2438 S. Recker Road in Verde at Cooley Station when they finally open in October

Decadent Macaron was founded by Stephanie and Mark Wagner. As the face of the business, Stephanie is the creative force behind the shop’s colorful and inspired designs, creating macarons shaped like cacti, characters, and other delights left to the imagination. Mark handles the business side of things, telling What Now Phoenix this week that their Gilbert shop is still under construction.

He adds that there will be a lot more to look forward to at their next location, where customers will find a coffee and tea program provided by local coffee shop Spce Coffee. The full-service cafe will be designed with the city of Paris in mind, a chic pink vibe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

You can currently find Decadent Macaron inside Chandler’s Palette Collective, in addition to local shops throughout the Valley. For more information, visit www.decadentmacaron.com.
