A new fast-casual restaurant called Doshi Chicken & Cupbop will open this year in Chandler. The restaurant is currently finishing up construction at 4960 S. Alma School Road near the Snedigar Sports Complex.

Doshi Chicken & Cupbop will specialize in Korean fare, particularly fried chicken and cup-bap, a street-food style version of Korean BBQ that is served in a cup with steamed rice and other toppings. Owner Son Moon told What Now Phoenix this week that he hopes to open in August.

Moon’s family are no strangers to the restaurant business in the Valley. His sister currently operates Sushi 101 in Tempe, which is one of the highest-rated spots for sushi and Japanese fare in that area. Based on this success, we’re sure that Doshi Chicken & Cupbop will be just as popular once the business takes off.

Moon says that his website and social media accounts are due to launch in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
