GoodGood, an artisanal bakery, is expected to open at Heritage Park in Gilbert in 2027, interior designer Kaitlyn Wolfe announced on social media.
Wolfe described the concept as a reinvention of August Rhodes Bakery, which originated in Tucson as part of Ares Collective, the Arizona hospitality group Nathan Ares founded.
Ares established the group in 2014 with the first Prep & Pastry in Tucson. Its sister concepts include Commoner & Co.
Wolfe also shared renderings showing a pastry display, a service counter, and seating surrounded by wood finishes, brick walls, and large pendant lights.
Heritage Park occupies a city block at Gilbert Road and Juniper Avenue in the town’s Heritage District. Developers Creation and Crescent Communities are building the mixed-use project, which includes restaurants, shops, apartments, and a public square.
Ares Collective is also developing Clare House Social on Gilbert Road, a project previously covered by What Now Phoenix.
What Now Phoenix reached out to Ares Collective, and this article may be updated as more information becomes available.
