Gravity Coffee, the Washington-based drive-thru cafe and energy drink concept, is set to open a 724-square-foot stand at 10047 E Southern Ave in Mesa, according to a commercial construction permit filed with the city yesterday, May 17.

A representative of Gravity Coffee did not return a request for comment, nor to confirm when the outpost – which will sit near the Mountain Vista Medical Center at the corner of E Southern Ave and S Crimson Rd – might open.

Incidentally, Gravity Coffee currently has 12 locations spread across the greater Phoenix region listed on its website as “landing soon.” Three of those are ostensibly destined for Mesa, though none seem to have an address that matches the permit filing. Meanwhile, the company operates one cafe in Gilbert. Likewise, What Now Phoenix reported in September 2022 that the company would be opening a spot at 3000 E. McKellips Rd.

More than just a coffee shop, Gravity also whips up its own signature energy drinks such as the Down to Earth, a beyond blue energy base mixed with sour apple and blue raspberry topped with cream, as well as a green tea lemonade infused with mango and citrus dubbed the Sunrise, and a white coffee drink, Hyperspace, which is prepared with coconut and caramel.
