Harry & Izzy’s, a celebrated upscale American grill, is getting ready to make its Arizona debut in the redeveloped Paradise Valley Mall.

The company’s first Valley site will sit in a standalone 8,300-square-foot building at the northeast corner of the park block, according to a press release. The sophisticated yet approachable concept, a sister restaurant to the iconic St. Elmo Steak House in Indianapolis, is beloved for its classically inspired menu, lively bar, and richly designed interiors. Harry & Izzy’s is one of several new tenants recently announced for the $2 billion transformation of the former Paradise Valley Mall, with six new additions, including a celebrity chef restaurant, first-to-market concepts, and standout regional favorites. Other concepts coming to the development include Cala, Velvet Taco, Too Sweet Cakes, FACE FOUNDRIÉ, and Zara Nail Bar, all expected to open in 2026.

“Bringing Harry & Izzy’s to RED’s newly redeveloped PV is a major milestone for Huse Culinary,” Craig Huse, CEO of Huse Culinary, said in a press release. “Expanding beyond the Midwest has been part of our long-term vision, and we’re excited to introduce our American grill to the Phoenix, Paradise Valley, and Scottsdale market. From a menu and design perspective, Harry & Izzy’s is a natural fit for the community. We’re particularly proud to be creating career opportunities and look forward to becoming a memorable dining destination in the Valley.”

Situated in the heart of one of the most prestigious and sought-after neighborhoods in Phoenix, PV spans more than 100 acres and is the over $2 billion, multi-phase, multi-year redevelopment of the former Paradise Valley Mall. Surrounded by lush landscaping and linked open areas designed to foster connection, PV is its own community featuring an array of dining, entertainment, retail, residential, and office offerings, all anchored by a centrally located park and gathering space. Starting in fall 2024, the first phase of openings includes Whole Foods Market, Blanco Cocina + Cantina, Flower Child, Trevor’s Liquor, Wren House Brewing Co., The Melt, Sephora, and more.

PV is also home to the 400-residence multifamily community, AVE Paradise Valley, along with Fender Musical Instruments Corp.’s co-headquarters in a fully dedicated office building set to open in 2025. Phase two will introduce Life Time and Life Time Living, a first-to-market, fully integrated concept consisting of an upscale athletic club and luxury-for-lease residences, in 2026. PV is developed by RED Development, an industry-leading, wholly integrated commercial real estate company known for its high-performing mixed-use and retail portfolio.

Harry & Izzy’s is an upscale American grill with locations in downtown Indianapolis, Northside, and the Indianapolis International Airport. When the newest Arizona location opens, customers can expect a menu that combines classic steakhouse dishes with modern American flavors, including the famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail and filet sliders. The Northside location, which opened in 2023, features an extensive wine cellar and can host up to 390 guests. The restaurant shares a history with St. Elmo Steakhouse and offers a refined yet casual dining experience. Known for its great food and inviting atmosphere, Harry & Izzy’s is a popular spot for both everyday meals and special occasions in Indianapolis, making it a perfect addition to PV.

“We’re curating an elevated mix of restaurants and services that will continue to transform PV into one of the most dynamic destinations in the Southwest,” Mike Ebert, managing partner at RED Development, said in a press release. “The addition of Cala and Harry & Izzy’s, alongside trend-forward and locally grown concepts, reflects our continued commitment to creating a space that feels distinct yet still deeply rooted in the Valley.”
