The team behind Humble Bistro is preparing to launch a new concept called Humble Steakhouse, set to open at 5450 E. High Street, Suite 117, in Phoenix.
The upcoming steakhouse will occupy the former home of The Boozy within the High Street development, according to a recent liquor license application. While an exact opening date has not been announced, documents indicate the space is under construction and projected for completion in Fall 2025. The company has applied for a Series 12 liquor license, typically issued to full-service restaurants, indicating that food and drink will both be central to the new concept.
This marks the latest addition to the growing Humble restaurant group, which already operates Humble Bistro, Humble Oysters & Bubbles, and soon-to-open Humble Market, all located on or near High Street. Earlier this year, What Now Phoenix reported on two other upcoming projects from the group: Humble Bistro at Adeline Luxury Living in downtown Phoenix and Humble Market, located across the street from the current High Street Bistro location. Those locations are also under construction, with estimated completion dates of September 2025 and August 2025, respectively.
Led by co-owner Eric Cornwell and chef-partner Jorge Gomez, the Humble brand has expanded rapidly since its debut in 2021. The group also operates Humble Bistro in Gilbert and Humble Pie in Glendale, with each restaurant offering chef-driven menus, curated cocktails, and seasonal selections. While full details on the new steakhouse have not yet been shared, the group’s consistent focus on high-quality dining and distinctive concepts suggests that Humble Steakhouse will follow a similar approach.
Both Humble Steakhouse and the previously announced Humble Market share the same address at 5450 E. High Street, Suite 117, raising the possibility that the steakhouse may be replacing the market concept. While the company has not confirmed this, the overlapping details suggest plans for the space may have shifted during development.
