Mr. Tempo, otherwise known as restaurateur Jorge Cueva, is getting ready to bring his vibrant Mexican concepts to Arizona with two new restaurants coming to Phoenix and Scottsdale.

The exact opening date of these two Mr. Tempo Cantinas is unknown, but they are two of many new locations for the restaurateur, according to the company’s website. Adding to his extensive list of restaurants in California, Mr. Tempo plans to open new locations in Whittier, Downtown Los Angeles, Dos Lagos, San Pedro, and Chicago. The company, Mas Chingon, is also working on two new concept sports bars in San Pedro and Hollywood, expected to open later this year.

When Mr. Tempo does enter the Arizona market, customers can expect a one-of-a-kind experience that will make anyone believe they’ve been teleported to Mexico. From the brightly decorated interior to the delicious food and drinks inspired by the country, all of Mr. Tempo’s restaurants are guaranteed for an unforgettable experience. Some highlights from the menu include the tuna tostada, tinga taquitos, a rainbow sushi boat, pork belly bites, and a $160 tableside tomahawk (USDA Prime) A-1. Both of these restaurants will significantly impact whichever area of Phoenix and Scottsdale they land in.

“Jorge Cueva’s restaurants bring Latin flavors to the communities,” according to the company’s website. “This farm-to-table experience proudly serves sustainable ingredients presented in on-of-a-kind dishes honoring Mexican influence, while also showing off culinary inspiration from international cuisine. At the bar, highly skilled mixologists create nothing short of amazing inventive craft cocktails that garnered consistent five-star ratings.”
