Last year, some of the biggest buzz in the Arizona boba scene was the introduction of Meet Fresh. The authentic Taiwanese dessert shop debuted at the 99 Ranch Market plaza in Chandler late last year to significant interest and it seems the Valley is still discovering what this franchise has to offer.
For those who can’t make it all the way down to Chandler, the shop owner already has plans afoot in Mesa. What Now Phoenix has obtained public records indicating that Meet Fresh is under construction at 1832 W. Broadway Road at the AZ International Marketplace plaza.
Soon, Mesa will get a taste of these unique Taiwanese delights, such as their grass jelly and taro ball desserts, made with ingredients that are prepared in-house. You can also try shaved ice topped with fresh fruits, mochi, boba, or red beans, plus freshly made bubble waffles.
Architects connected to the project, who also helped develop the Meet Fresh’s Chandler location, told What Now Phoenix in a phone call that the Mesa store might be ready “in about two more months.” The owner of these locations could not immediately be reached for comment.
