Mendocino Farms, a popular California-based fast-casual restaurant chain, will open its first Arizona location in Scottsdale, located at the northeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Paradise Lane at 16243 N. Scottsdale Road.

Known for its fresh sandwiches, salads, soups, and sides, the chain is set to join the dining lineup at Scottsdale Promenade sometime in 2026, according to Phoenix New Times. Mendocino Farms will occupy a 3,000-square-foot space, featuring a 500-square-foot patio that accommodates both indoor and outdoor dining.

Founded in 2005, Mendocino Farms has grown to nearly 80 locations in California, Texas, Illinois, Colorado, and Washington. The upcoming Scottsdale restaurant is part of the company’s broader national growth initiative.

“Arizona has been a key growth market on our list as we continue expanding our footprint across the U.S.,” Kevin Miles, CEO of Mendocino Farms, said in a news release. “We look forward to joining Scottsdale’s vibrant dining scene and creating a welcoming space for guests to gather and enjoy delicious, fresh meals when we open in 2026.”

The menu at Mendocino Farms includes customer favorites like the “Not So Fried” Chicken Sandwich with “Mendo’s krispies,” Thai Mango Salad, Chicken Parm Dip, and Peruvian Steak Sandwich. Sides and soups include Basil Pesto Shells, Oaxacan Potato Salad, and Corn and Hatch Chile Soup. The restaurant also offers house-made beverages, including teas, lemonades (such as a pomegranate mint variety), and aguas frescas. Seasonal specials, like the vegan watermelon poke salad, rotate throughout the year.

Mendocino Farms will join more than a dozen other restaurants at Scottsdale Promenade, including local spots like Chin Up Donuts and Original ChopShop, as well as national chains such as The Capital Grille and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar.

Harrison Cole, leasing and development manager at Vestar, the company overseeing the Promenade, expressed confidence in the brand’s local appeal. “Their commitment to feel-good food made with wholesome, high-quality ingredients makes them a perfect fit for this health-conscious community,” he said in the release.
