After an exciting year in 2023, the owners of Noble Ground Coffee are still expanding throughout the Valley, with two locations currently in the works.

Last year, Noble Ground Coffee announced plans to expand in the Valley after signing a three-year partnership with the Arizona Coyotes, Phoenix Suns, and the Tucson Roadrunners. CEO Tim O’Neal was emphatic about his company’s expansion plans, even going as far as to say he wants to open at least eight brick-and-mortar locations over the next 12 months, according to Phoenix Business Journal. Since then, the company has opened six brick-and-mortar stores, with at least two more on their way.

Noble Ground Coffee will open two new locations in Phoenix, starting with a new site in Downtown Phoenix at 101 N. 1st Avenue. Danielle Rubenstein, the operations manager for Noble Ground Coffee, tells What Now Phoenix that this location is expected to open on Thursday, October 31. After this, the company plans to open a new location in the Paradise Square shopping center at 3831 E. Thunderbird Road. Rubenstein says this location is expected to open in the second or third week of November 2024. While these are the only two locations in development at the moment, it doesn’t mean the company is close to slowing down its expansion plans.

When Noble Ground opened its first brick-and-mortar location in downtown Phoenix in the Footprint Center, it was averaging $1,200 per game. This led O’Neal to see the true potential of this brand. Last year, it was announced that all profits from online and Footprint Center sales will go directly towards funding housing, education, and food services to underserved communities around the Valley. With such a wholesome goal in mind, O’Neal told the Business Journal that he hopes to open as many as 1,000 locations nationwide, suggesting that the business model will succeed because people love giving back to the community.
