Pinnacle Brewing is preparing to expand with a second Valley location in Downtown Mesa, according to Phoenix New Times. The family-owned brewery plans to open a new taproom and kitchen at 104 W. Main St. in 2027.

The upcoming outpost will place Pinnacle in the heart of Downtown Mesa’s growing craft beer scene, near the corner of Main Street and McDonald Road. The brewery will occupy a space previously home to The Boutique and become part of the area’s growing brewery community.

Founded by Bob and Mary Wilson alongside their son and brewmaster, Wyatt Wilson, Pinnacle first debuted in Scottsdale in 2024 at 15111 N. Hayden Road. The brewery quickly gained recognition for its true-to-style craft beers and European-inspired brewing approach rooted in Wyatt’s formal brewing education and industry experience.

Wyatt previously worked with breweries including Dust Bowl Brewing in California, Monkless Belgian Ales in Oregon, and Mash Lab Brewing in Colorado, building experience that later shaped Pinnacle’s brewing program.

The company traces its origins to family conversations and homebrewing ambitions that predated its Scottsdale opening. The business grew out of a shared family vision, combining Bob’s longtime interest in brewing with Wyatt’s professional training and passion for classic beer styles.

The Mesa expansion reflects both the company’s growth and its connection to Arizona’s craft beer community. In its Instagram announcement, Pinnacle said Downtown Mesa’s walkable setting and local business community helped make the neighborhood a natural fit for the brewery.

“You can expect the same delicious beers, good vibes, and a food program that will be announced soon,” the company shared in the social media post.

The expansion arrives during a notable moment for the brewery. Pinnacle has earned several recent distinctions, including 2025 Arizona Brewery of the Year, 2025 Best Brewery of the Valley, a bronze medal at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival, and Beer of the Year recognition from USA Beer Ratings.

Additional details regarding the Mesa kitchen and opening timeline are expected in the coming months.
